What I am Learning This Week
Wednesday, March 7, 2007
We often know each other according to our weaknesses and as a result, grumble against one another. When we first meet a person, we think they have so many positive points and are full of potential. But after working with them, we draw up a list of their weaknesses. Every time we see them or speak of them, we bring that list to memory.

Instead of seeing them in terms of what they are good at, we think of them in terms of what they are not good at. The result is not only can they not become what God has designed them to be, but the whole ministry itself is crippled because we have kept a person from fully developing through our discouragement.

Instead, know people according to their strengths and not the weaknesses. Look for one another's strength and then build a relationship on that strength and not their weaknesses.
