Blessed to be a Blessing!
Wednesday, February 11, 2009
One thing for sure, we need to keep giving. We need to continue to be blessings to others. This is not the time to hold back. My family have been on the receiving end of a beautiful blessing. I struggled at first in receiving it, but I got really convicted on learning how to receive a blessing and allowing the person that is blessing me the opportunity to blessed and serve through giving. Throughout the holidays, I see God's hand of provision for my family through the p ![]() When the offerings were finished, the king and everyone present with him knelt down and worshiped. King Hezekiah and his officials ordered the Levites to praise the LORD with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with gladness and bowed their heads and worshiped. 2 Chronicles 29:29 We are blessed to be a blessing! When we give offerings to the Lord we do it to thank him, to obey him, to acknowledge that all good things come from him, and everything we have is his, for the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it. It is a celebration of the Lord’s provision. He has given us his Son, His Word, our breath, our families, our jobs, our home, clothes, cars, our health, our church family, this beautiful country. He is worthy to be praised!!! King Hezekiah repaired the temple doors, his predecessors were unfaithful to the Lord, and he was going to get it right! (Thankfully, my predecessor did such an awesome job!) He lead the people back to a heart of worship, he consecrated everything unto the Lord. He Some churches all over the world have turned their backs on God and become worldly, or lukewarm or just like a club. We are called to relationship with our Lord, and the integral part of that relationship is to worship him in spirit and in truth. To worship Him with our bodies, our time, our money, our whole life is a lifestyle of worship to him. Lord, I love you and want to serve you wholeheartedly. Revive me. Fill me and Pour Afresh on me. Teach me DAILY the importance of GIVING and TRUSTING in YOU!! Let not my circumstances dictate how much I should give but rather n FAITH in You. Amen. Bradah Jit @ 11:16 AM |
